Last week, Teresa Knox who is the Strategy Manager for LA Commissioned Alternative Education, visited the school to meet with the staff and students, and review areas of staffing, curriculum, attendance and premises. The visit was very positive; as well as reassurance on current progression, Teresa shared a wealth of knowledge and guidance on areas for improvement. Some highlights include:
"I was reassured by my visit. There seems to be a clear vision for sustaining the existing good practice at PPP and also for developing new initiatives. Students I met were all friendly and I observed no inappropriate behaviour. I am not worried for the welfare of pupils who attend and I am confident that a lot of work is done relating to safeguarding. I look forward to seeing how your revised curriculum impacts on both attendance and attainment."
